What to Expect From a Swimming Pool Installation
Every backyard in New England is a little different, with size, terrain, sunlight, soil conditions, and layout all playing a role. Still, our proven process ensures every homeowner enjoys a seamless and predictable installation experience.
Here’s a closer look at what you can expect from our swimming pool installation process:
An At-Home Consultation With a Design Specialist
One of our experienced Design Specialists will visit your home to learn exactly what you want to accomplish with your new on-ground pool. During this consultation, we’ll discuss important questions such as:
- What do you envision for your outdoor space?
- How do you plan to use your pool (for exercising, relaxing, entertaining, or family fun)?
- What style or features appeal to you most?
We’ll also measure your yard, evaluate the location for optimal sunlight and usability, assess access points for installation equipment, and review available pool sizes and configurations. Throughout the consultation, we listen closely to your ideas so we can seamlessly incorporate your dreams into a functional and elegant backyard oasis.
Weather permitting, your Gibraltar Pool™ will be fully installed and ready for enjoyment in as little as ten to fourteen days after ordering.
Grading & Excavation
On installation day, we begin by preparing the site. This can include:
- Grading the ground for a smooth, level surface
- Excavating (if required) to create the proper foundation
- Demolition of old structures or obstacles (if required)
Our team works carefully and efficiently to ensure the installation site is perfectly prepared to support your new swimming pool for years to come.
Expert Pool Assembly
Once the site is ready, it’s time for the exciting part of the pool installation process: pool construction. Your pool will be assembled by the best construction engineers in the business, bar none. Our crews know our pools inside and out, and every build is completed with precision. In this way, we guarantee long-term durability, peak performance, enhanced safety, and clean aesthetics. Plus, most pools are fully constructed in one day, giving you near-instant access to summer fun.
Filling the Pool
After assembly is complete, you can begin filling your pool using your garden hose or by scheduling a local water truck for a faster fill. Either way, you’ll be swimming sooner than you think.
