Tylo Traditional Saunas

Tylo has been designing and manufacturing saunas in Sweden since the early 1950s, and their traditional lineup reflects decades of engineering refinement. Three current collections are available: the Reflection™, the Halmstad™, and the Lulea™.

Each uses Tylo’s electric heaters with a divided output staging system that maintains consistent temperature rather than cycling fully on and off. The result is even, stable heat and lower energy draw compared to conventional heater designs. A shared feature across Tylo’s traditional line is the ThermoSafe™ coating applied to heater side panels. It keeps the exterior surface cooler to the touch regardless of internal temperature, eliminating the need for bulky metal safety guards and giving the interior a clean, open look. The deep rock compartment is engineered for direct contact between rocks and heating elements and is designed for full water vaporization when you pour. This is the traditional löyly experience, done properly.

Reflection™ Collection

The Reflection™ is Tylo’s flagship traditional sauna. Its aspen wood interior is complemented by a Crown™ 8 heater with IntelliAir™ fast-heating technology, chromotherapy LED lighting, a Bluetooth-integrated sound system, and a Bliss Control Panel with Tylo Sauna App connectivity. It’s available in 3-person and 4-person configurations for indoor use on a 240V circuit. It's a genuinely complete sauna environment, not an entry-level unit dressed up with extras.

Halmstad™ & Lulea™ Collections

The Halmstad™ delivers a straightforward high-heat traditional sauna experience with IntelliAir™ technology and ThermoSafe™ safety built in, available for up to 4 people. The Lulea™ is built for all-season outdoor use, with insulated walls and durable construction suited to New England winters. It's also available for up to 4 people. If your goal is an outdoor sauna that performs in February as well as July, the Lulea™ is designed for that demand.

Infrared & Hybrid Saunas

Infrared saunas heat the body directly rather than warming the surrounding air first. Sessions typically run at lower ambient temperatures than traditional saunas, which many users find more comfortable, particularly those newer to sauna use or sensitive to high heat. Regular infrared use can support circulation and may help with muscle tension relief, though individual results vary.

Kiruna™ Infrared Collection

The Kiruna™ Collection is Tylo’s current infrared lineup, available in 1-, 2-, and 3-person configurations for indoor use on a standard 120V circuit. No dedicated electrical work is required for most homes. The Kiruna™ 3 features CarbonFlex® infrared panels designed for even heat distribution and low EMR exposure, VOC-free clear hemlock wood construction, an Aspire Control Panel with Tylo Sauna App connectivity, Bluetooth sound, and both internal and external chromotherapy LED lighting.

Kiruna™ Hybrid Collection

The Kiruna™ Hybrid combines traditional and infrared heating in a single unit. You can run a high-heat traditional session, switch to a lower-temperature infrared session, or use both systems together, all in one cabinet, available for up to 3 people. For buyers who want flexibility without committing to a single heat type, the Hybrid is worth a close look.
